Reflection on the learning and competencies:
Reflecting on the learning carried out in this activity, I have developed several competencies
related to scientific writing and research.
First of all, I gained a systematic understanding of the field of biomedical writing and learned to
master the skills and research methods related to this field.

This has allowed me to conceive, and create an original research article, putting into practice the skills and knowledge
acquired during the course.
Second, I have developed the ability to contribute to pushing back the boundaries of knowledge
through original research. The course has taught me to critically analyze, evaluate and
summarize new and complex ideas, which has helped me develop my research topic and write
my manuscript.
In addition, I have acquired the competence to communicate effectively with the academic,
scientific community and with society in general, about the field, in the forms and languages
​​commonly used in the international scientific community. I have learned to use precision,
simplicity, fluency, and conciseness in my writing, which are crucial elements of scientific writing
in English.
In conclusion, this course has provided me with valuable skills and competencies related to
scientific writing and research. I feel more confident in my ability to write an original research
paper and am excited to apply what I have learned in my future academic and professional
pursuits.
