Reflection on the learning and competencies:
Reflecting on the learning carried out in this activity, I have acquired knowledge and skills
related to the management of references used in research. Through this activity, I have learned
to cite different types of documents, such as books, scientific articles, and events, and to use
bibliographic styles such as ISO 690, APA, Harvard, IEEE, among others. In addition, I have
gained the ability to work with Mendeley, a reference management system, which helps me
easily organize and manage my references.
These learning outcomes have significantly contributed to the development of my competencies
as a Ph.D. student. First of all, I have mastered the skills and methods of bibliography citation.
And second, this learning has allowed me to push the boundaries of knowledge with original
research citing previous studies and building on existing literature.
