Reflection on the learning and competencies:
Reflecting on my learning experience in the Cambridge English: First (FCE) exam preparation
course, I can confidently say that the competencies set out in the program have been
achieved.
The course has reinforced my knowledge of English in grammar, vocabulary, and functional
language. I have had the opportunity to practice different grammatical structures and learn
new vocabulary, which has helped me expand my knowledge of the language. The functional
language exercises have been particularly helpful as they have given me the necessary tools to
communicate effectively in different situations.
As a result of the course, I have not only been able to reach level B2, but I have obtained a
higher level, which is level C. Although it has not been through the Cambridge organization,
but rather through the British Council, specifically, the Aptis exam General
In conclusion, the Cambridge English: First (FCE) exam preparation course has helped me
obtain the English-level certificate I needed to be able to continue my doctoral studies.
